Leather Skirt - that rocks!

Ich hatte ja bereits vor ein paar Tagen gepostet, dass ich momentan total auf Leder stehe. Dieses rockige Teil von Mango habe ich bei Otto.de ergattern können. Das Lederimitat fühlt sich sehr weich an und sitzt auch sehr angenehm. Da es ja kein elastischer Rock ist, bekommt man die Beine beim Gehen allerdings nicht so weit auseinander. Es ist aber auf jeden Fall im Rahmen und daher okay.

Eine Freundin und ich haben uns am Wochenende überlegt, im November vielleicht ein paar Tage runter nach Karlsruhe zu fahren. Wäre ein Überraschungsbesuch bei Leuten, die wir auf dem SZIGET Festival kennengelernt haben. Ich glaube, das könnten paar sehr lustige Revival-Tage werden. Na hoffentlich klappt das und außerdem wäre es auch mein erstes Mal in der Stadt. War schonmal jemand von euch da? :-)

A few days ago I've already posted I'm currently really into leather. So I bought this rocking piece at Mango. That imitation leather is greatly soft and nice to wear. As this skirt is not as elastic as a cotton one, there is not a particular great freedom of leg movement. But it's definitely enough! 

Big Bag for University

Meine Freundin hat im September angefangen Innenarchitektur zu studieren und ist seit dem ein bisschen gefrustet, weil auf der Uni (gleichzeitig eine Modeschule) alle so extrem 'gestylt und modisch'  rumlaufen. Daher hat sie sich gleich mal auf die Suche nach einer neuen Tasche gemacht und mich genauso um Rat gefragt. Kritikpunkt ist, dass sie groß genug für einen Laptop, weitere Schreibutensilien und Bücher sein sollte. Um ihr ein bisschen unter die Arme zu greifen, habe ich ihr gerade mal eine Mail geschickt mit folgenden Möglichkeiten von Görtz. Ich habe schwarz gewählt, weil die Farbe ja einfach zu fast allem passt, Was haltet ihr davon?

My best friend has started to study at a university of interior architecture and has been frustated since then as there are a lot of students with a great sense of fashion that are always good-looking. So she ask me if I could help her finding a new bag first. It has to be big enough for her notebook, books and other utensils. So I of course immediately started to search a new black bag for her (you can always wear black!). How do you feel about these items by Görtz?

Diese gab es auch noch in braun. Ist aber leider schon ausverkauft! :-/

L.A. CANDY ... a novel

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich 'Blogging Queen' zu ende gelesen. Da musste natürlich gleich ein neues Buch her, denn wie sollte ich sonst meine Zeit in der Bahn und sonstige unnötige Wartezeiten überbrücken?? ;-) Da bin ich auf irgendeinen Blog (weiß leider nicht mehr welchen) auf die Buchreihe von Lauren Conrad gestoßen. Viele von euch kennen Sie vermutlich aus Ihrer MTV-Show 'The Hills'. Fall nicht könnt ihr euch alle Folgen auf the-hills.tv anschauen. Ich mach das regelmäßig! Zur Zeit sind die beiden 'The City' Staffeln dran. Mal wieder! ;-) Naja aber um beim Thema zu bleiben: Ich habe mir das Buch nun letzte Woche angeschafft und bin bisher begeistert. Für alle die 'The Hills' lieben gelernt haben, wird dieser Roman schöne Erinnerung wecken. Lauren selbst hatte gesagt, dass sie sich am meisten mit der weiblichen Hauptrolle Jane Roberts identifizieren kann und tatsächlich kann der Leser diese Parallelen auf Anhieb erkennen. Allerdings ist das Buch nur auf Englisch zu ergattern, aber, wie ich finde, ist es ziemlich leicht zu lesen. Das meiste erklärt sich ja aus dem Kontext. :-)

A few days ago I finished reading the book 'Blogging Queen', so I urgently needed to buy a new one. I'm totally addicted in reading novels while having to wait for something or going by train. There I've remembered I read something about the book series of Lauren Conrad. I guess most of you know her from the MTV-Show 'The Hills'. If not, you can catch up watching it on mtv.com, NO! You have to. :-)  Everybody who loved 'The Hills' will  be remembered of funny and nice moments by the novel. Lauren said she could mostly identifiy herself with the central character Jane Roberts. I can just agree! There are totally similarities. 

Summary:

Los Angeles is all about the sweet life: 

hot clubs, cute guys, designer ... everything. Nineteen-year-old Jane Roberts can't wait to start living it up. She may be in L.A. for an internship but Jane plans to play as hard as she works, and has enlisted her BFF Scarlett to join in the fun. Leather hype

In letzter Zeit komm ich (und so geht es euch bestimmt auch!) an Leder nicht vorbei. Die Catwalks waren auf den Fashion Weeks in New York, London und Mailand voll damit und auch auf der Straße und den Shops sieht man mehr und mehr Leder. Ich will mich nicht beschweren, ganz im Gegenteil(!) denn auch ich habe mich vollkommen anstecken lassen und frage mich nur, was ich mir als erstes holen sollte....??? Am liebsten hätte ich gerne eine Lederjacke mit Nieten am Kragen, aber bisher habe ich keine finden können, die mich sofort umhaut :-/
Daher hier eine kleine Collage mit den Dingen, die's mir sonst noch angetan haben ;-)


Recently, I (and I suppose you as well!) don't get around leather. The catwalk shows at the Fashion Weeks in New York City, London and Milan were fully covered of by leather skirts, leather shorts, leather bags, leather jackets and and and. Also the streets and shops currently provide smashing outfits and it-pieces ... I really don't want to complain, quite the opposite(!) because also me have fallen in love with it and the one and only question is: What piece of clothing shell I buy first??? My first choice would be a leather jacket with some metal appliqués on the collar but I haven't already found a smashing one :-/ So that is why I prepared a collage for you showing all my other favourites.

Our little Farm ...

Bei so schönem Wetter kann man doch ruhig mal rausgehen und ein paar Fotos knipsen ... dacht ich mir mal so ;-) und wie gedacht, auch getan! Mein Elternhaus liegt in Ahrensmoor, ein gaaanz kleiner Flecken im Nirgendwo mit viel Platz für Tiere. Ich hab jetzt nur ein paar fotografiert, aber hier ein kleiner Einblick in 'unsere kleine Farm'... wie ihr sehen könnt, haben unsere Yorkies vor ein paar Wochen wieder Welpen bekommen. Die sind sooooo süß!!

When it's such a lovely weather you have to go outside for taking photographs...that's what I thought about ;-) so a thought and a blow! My parents' home is in Ahrensmoor, a veeery small piece in middle of nowhere and with a lot of place for animals. I've just photographed some of them but here a little insight into 'our little farm' ... as you can probably see our Yorkies have got little puppies. They are sooooo sweet!!
