Blogger Contest - Rock am Ring Festival

Sonne, Hitze, laute Musik, hammer Leute und gute Laune - alles Zutaten für ein Wahnsinns-Festival. Ich bin mir sicher, dass der ein oder andere noch zwei drei Sachen hinzufügen möchte. Hier geht es ganz allein um die Grundzutaten, die ich als unabdingbar ernannt habe. Denke ich zurück an das Sziget Festival in Ungarn, das ich letztes Jahr besucht habe, dann gibt es noch hundert andere kleine aber unvergessliche Dinge. Am besten haben mir die vielen crazy Styles gefallen, die mich alle paar Schritte regelrecht angeschrien haben. Was mir an meinem Festival Outfit am wichtigsten ist, sind Bequemlichkeit, Bändsel am Handgelenk und eine gute Mischung aus Coolness und meinem normalen Style. Auf Festivals kleide ich mich weniger Elegant oder Chic als im alltäglichen Leben. Ich möchte in meinem Outfit abgehen, relaxen und rumlaufen können, ohne auf etwas achten zu müssen. 

s.Oliver hat jetzt eine tolle Blogger-Aktion gestartet. Ich wurde eingeladen und bekomme zusammen mit einer Begleitperson meiner Wahl die Chance ein Rock am Ring Ticket zu ergattern. Meine Aufgabe? Festival-Outfit zusammensuchen, selbst tragen, Fotos knipsen und einschicken. Im Falle eines Gewinns wäre ich dann schon im Juni als Fashion Hunter auf dem Rock am Ring unterwegs. Drückt mir bloß die Daumen! Bei dem Line-Up dieses Jahr wäre das wirklich der Wahnsinn. Neben dem Sziget im August wäre es somit auch mein zweites dieses Jahr.

The best is that a friend of mine could go along with me. My job? To create a festival outfit, wear it and snap some shoots. Instagram - A rolling stone gathers no moss

Titel zu Deutsch: Wer rastet, der rostet! Und genau deshalb wagte ich den Schritt in die kleine Welt des Foto-Tools für Smartphones. Das ganze nennt sich Instagram. Was bei mir noch klägliche Anfangsversuche sind, ist bei euch vermutlich schon Gang und Gebe. Um euch kurz und knapp zu erklären, was ihr auf meinen kleinen Bildchen sehen könnt, habe ich eine Beschreibung unter jeder Collage gesetzt. Hinter jedem Bild steckt eine Geschichte und es wäre doch schade, wenn ich euch keinen Denkanstoß gebe. Nebenbei sollte ich vielleicht noch erwähnen, dass ich zu einem Modeblogger-Contest eingeladen wurde. Mehr dazu innerhalb der nächsten 2 Tagen.

Because that's why I've ventures into the small world of the photo tool for smart phones that's called Instagram. What is even more pathetic in my early tests, might be common practice for you. In order to explain briefly what you can see on my little pictures, I've put a description below each collage. There is a story behind each picture, so it would be a shame if I don't set you thinking. Incidentally, I should perhaps mention that I'm invited to a fashion blogger contest. However, more on this wihtin the following 2 days.

Free things always hurt - but sometimes kind of...not?

Heute um 12 Uhr war ich zur perfekten Zeit zum Eis-Tasting eingeladen. Häagen Dazs hat mit Sternekoch Andi Schweiger die Secret Sensation Eissorten vorgestellt und anschließend zum Naschen aufgerufen. Fazit?  Super lecker! Ich bin eigentlich jemand der eher zur Chipstüte greift als zur Eistüte, aber bei so einem Becher Häagen Dazs werde ich zukünftig vielleicht doch nicht mehr so einfach vorbeigehen können. Normalerweise ist sowas im Supermarkt gekonnt ignoriert. 

Das Outfit auf den Bildern trug ich auch bei dem Event heute Mittag - selber Tag, selbes Outfit ....

Gürtel von Mango und ansonsten - so fällt es mir gerade auf - ist es ein komplettes H&M Outfit. Wie Mainstream ;-) Infos über mein kurzes Gespräch mit Jasmin Wagner alias Blümchen und ein paar Instagram Fotos folgen in ein paar kurzen Tagen.

Today at 12 midday, I was invited for ice cream tasting at the most perfect time. Häagen Dazs and starred chef Andi Schweiger have introduced us to the Secret Sensation of ice cream and called then  for snacking. Résumé? Super yummy! I'm actually one of those who prefers grabbing the chips then the ice cream, but with such a cup of Häagen Dazs in future I might not be able to go past that easy. Usually I'm excellent in ignoring the ice cream in the supermarket. This outfit I also wore at this event today - same day, same outfit ....
Belt's by Mango and the other things - that's what I've just realized - are completely from H&M. Thus mainstream, isn't it?;-)

Preview der s.Oliver Herbst- und Winterkollektionen

Vor ein paar Tagen hatte ich das Vergnügen mir vorab die kommenden Herbst- und Winterkollektionen von s.Oliver anzuschauen. Ich bin sehr froh über diese Gelegenheit. Was gibt es schöneres als exklusiv zum Durchstöbern von wunderbar sortierten Kleiderständern eingeladen zu werden. Besonders wenn die Atmosphäre so locker und entspannt ist und man mit Leckereien begrüßt wird. Innerhalb eines Labels wie z.B. QS by s.Oliver oder s.Oliver Casual führte mich eine klare Linie von Design zu Design, von etwas mondäneren Teilen über Dirndl bis hin zu jugendlichem Chic. Mein absoluter Favorit ist die Fellweste von Selection by s.Oliver. Diese und andere interessante Designs habe ich für euch hier zusammengefasst. So könnt ihr euch ein kleines Bild davon machen, worauf ihr euch freuen könnt. Und bis dahin gibt's ja immer noch die aktuelle Frühjahrs und Sommerkollektionen.

A few days ago I had the pleasure to sneak a peak at the upcoming autumn and winter collections of s.Oliver. I am very glad of this opportunity. What could be nicer than being invited exclusively for browsing through wonderfully assorted clothes racks? Especially when the atmosphere is so relaxed. Within a label, such as for example S.Oliver and s.Oliver Casual, a clear line took me from design to design, from something fashionable to a dirndl ending at youthful chic. My absolute favorite is the fur vest of Selection by s.Oliver. Other interesting designs are summarized for you below. So you can get an idea of those things you can look forward to. And until then, there are still the current spring and summer collections.

Colors of the Wind - Outfitpost

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich einen farbenfrohen Beitrag über Jeanshosen gepostet. Das hübsche Exemplar, das ihr hier an mir seht, war ein Teil davon. Voller Vorfreude wartete ich noch vor Kurzem auf meine mintgrüne Jeans und war etwas überrascht als sie dann endlich ankam. Die Hose ist live leider etwas dunkler und wirkt daher gar nicht mehr so mintig wie erwartet. Aber wie kann ich eine Hose zurückschicken, die sich so wundervoll unter meinen Händen anfühlt und getragen einen super Hintern formt? Eben! Daher habe ich sie dennoch behalten und bin wirklich glücklich mit dieser Entscheidung. Freesoul (über Sojeans.de) hat mit dem Design mal wieder gute Arbeit geleistet.

A few days ago I posted an article about colorful jeans for the sunny Spring and Summer season. This lovely sample you see here on me was a part of it. Full of pleasant anticipation I've waited for my mint green jeans and was kind of surprised when it finally arrived. The pants are, unfortunately, live a little darker and has therefore not that minty touch I expected. But how could I return pants that is so wonderful and soft to my touch and that shape a great bum? Exactly! So I keep them anyway and am really happy with this decision. Freesoul (from Sojeans.de) has once again done a good job with that design.

Colors of the Wind

Mit diesem Titel möchte ich nicht auf das Lied "Farbenspiel des Winds" aus dem Disney-Kinderfilm Pocahontas aufmerksam machen - obwohl es schon ein toller Film ist -, sondern vielmehr die Betonung auf Colors setzen. Und tatsächlich könnte man ebenso sagen, dass der Wind eine gewisse Rolle spielt. Der Wind steht in meinem Beispiel eher für das Wetter und damit ebenso für die Jahreszeiten, die verantwortlich für unsere Kleidung sind. Während uns im Herbst und Winter meist deckende Erdtöne und triste Kleidung schmeichelt, sehnt sich unser Kleiderschrank im Frühling und im Sommer nach bunter Abwechslung. Meistens stehen wir dann täglich vor der Frage, für welches farbige Kleid oder Tanktop wir uns entscheiden sollten, um dieses Bedürfnis zu befriedigen. Dieses Jahr geben uns Labels wie Freesoul, Fornarina oder Pepe Jeans die Möglichkeit in einem breiterem Spektrum zu fischen. Pastellige Beinbekleidung für den Frühling und eine umso knalligere Farbpalette für den Sommer. Auf Empfehlung habe ich mich ein wenig auf Sojeans.de umgeschaut und muss zugeben, dass ich von der Auswahl ziemlich begeistert war. Schon bald erwarte ich sogar eine grüne Überraschung. With this title I don't want to refer to the song "Colors Of The Wind" of Disney's film Pocahontas - although it is a great film - but rather like to put the emphasis on Colors. And yes, you could also say that the wind plays a certain role. The wind of my example is quasi the weather and so also the seasons that are responsible for our clothes. During the fall and winter seasons covering earth tones and drap clothes flatters us most indeed. In spring and summer our wardrobe craves then fortunately more colorful variety. We are then mostly faced with the question which colorful dress or shirt we should wear day by day in order to meet this need. This year, labels like Freesoul, Pepe Jeans or Fornarina give us the possibility of fishing in a wider range. Pastel legwear for the spring and an even more jazzy color palette for the summer. On the recommendation I've looked around a bit on Sojeans.de and have to admit I'm quite impressed by the selection. Surprise surprise, I'm now expecting a green beauty (how could I resist?). White - What else?

Ich lehne mich vermutlich nicht zu weit aus dem Fenster, wenn ich sage, dass mir kaum ein Trend so gefällt wie dieser. Weiße Kleider, weiße Hosen, weiße Röcke, weiße Blusen und und und - Hauptsache alles im unschuldigen Weiß. Während die (Nicht-) Farbe im Winter und Herbst eher störend ist und schnell mit schmutzigen Flecken bestückt wird, strahlt sie an den warmen Tagen im Frühling und Sommer umso heller. Das Kleid, das ich heute trage, ist silber weiß. Die goldenen Accessoires habe ich bereits in meinem letzten Post vorgestellt - alles von Mango. Den naturweißen Blazer habe ich mir kurzerhand bei H&M in die Einkaufstüte gelegt. Ein strahlendes Weiß hätte vermutlich besser gepasst, aber ich konnte bei dem Kauf ja nicht nur an ein Kleid denken. Ich muss an meinen Kleiderschrank denken und an die Teile, die im Laufe des Sommers ein weiterer Teil davon werden sollen.

I lean probably not too far from the window when I say that I hardly like a trend like I adore this one. White dresses, white pants, white skirts, white blouses and and and - alright as long as it's white. While in autumn and winter the (non-) color is rather disturbing and gets equipped with dirty stains quickly, it radiates even brighter on the sunny days of spring and summer. The dress I was wearing today is kind of silver white. The golden accessories I've already showed you in my last post - everything is from Mango. The natural white blazer I simply placed in my shopping bag at a H&M-shop in Hamburg a few days ago. A bright white might have fit better to that dress but I couldn't just think of  only one dress while I'm shopping a white jacket. I have to think of my closet and of those items that will be part of my closet as of the upcoming summer.

... is silver, accessories are golden.

Eigentlich heißt es ja Reden ist silber, Schweigen ist gold, aber so passt es scheinbar auch. Auf Bildern geht die Tasche von Mango leicht in die Richung von Silber, doch der Schein trügt. Steht man ihr "Angesicht zu Angesicht" gegenüber, erkennt man den goldenen Schimmer. Beim ersten Betrachten im Online-Shop führte es bei mir zuerst zur Verwirrtheit. Die Artikelbeschreibung brachte dann zum Glück Klarheit. Was haltet Ihr von beiden Mango Stücken - Gürtel und Tasche?

I know, it should normally be Speech is silver, silence is golden, but I really like it that way. Ironically I even have a silver dress so it could also be Dresses are silver, accessories are golden. The long and the short of it, do you like my new items of Mango? The belt and the bag? Just the bag? Just the belt?

Still waiting for Spring

Nach den kleinen warmen Sonnenstrahlen vor einer Woche, folgen nun wieder triste kalte Tage. Das ist allerdings kein Grund sofort alle farbenfrohen und aufheiternden Accessoires und Kleidungsstücke wieder in den Tiefen des Kleiderschrankes zu verstauen. Um euch das direkt zu demonstrieren, habe ich meine orange Tasche von Mango gezückt und mit einer weißen, ziemlich durchsichtigen Bluse kombiniert, damit es auch richtig leuchtet. Die Bluse ist noch so weiß, damit könnte man doch glatt Werbung für Wäsche-Weiß machen. Was Kameras immer so schön aus den Dingen rausholen können.

After these little warm sun rays a week ago, dreary cold days are following now. But that is no reason to store again all the colorful and exhilarating accessories and clothing in the depths of the wardrobe. In order to show you an example of demonstration, I grabbed my orange bag of Mango and combined it with my white, rather transparent blouse in order to make it even properly lit. It's insane how reflex cameras always make the best of somehting. I couldn't live without mine anymore ...
