Yes, you got it! My outfit's theme is flowers. Both my shirt as well as my shorts are from ZARA. As soon as we got it in the store I knew I gonna lose some money and enrich my closet. The shorts with its floral laces is super cute, comfortable and quite handy since it's really easy to combine. The shirt is quite special and perfect for upcoming Spring and Summer. It goes super well with jeans to create a casual style but also more sporty with leggings or feminine with fabrics like on the pictures.

At the moment I'm visiting my family on the country side of Germany, so the location looks correspondingly. ;-)

Ich denke, durch den Titel wird schnell klar, dass das heutige Thema "Blumen" sind. Passend zum schönen Frühling und dem heutigen Sonnenschein. Das Top und die Shorts sind beide von ZARA (wie so oft ...). Das Top hatte ich sofort gekauft, als wir es in den Laden bekommen habe. Mit der Shorts war ich mir erst nicht so sicher, aber irgendwie wusste ich schon, dass ich sie früher oder später doch kaufen werde. Sie ist einfach zu süß. Wir haben sie auch in weiß, aber das sehe ich immer ein wenig problematisch, wenn man sich irgendwo hinsetzen möchte etc.. Das ist mir zu riskant. Das Top kann man auch eher casual mit Jeans stylen oder eher sportlich mit Leggings. Das werde ich sicherlich auch noch machen.

Im Moment bin ich bei meiner Familie in Deutschland, die eher auf dem Lande wohnt. Daher sieht die Location natürlich entsprechend aus. ;-)

high waist and crop top - big trends 2014!

I believe there is no such big fashion trend as crop tops  and high waist this year. I'm working as a visual merchandiser at ZARA and I'm feeling like half of our collection is cropped or high waisted. And I actually love that. I already bought so much stuff of it and can't stop. BUT that also forces me a bit to start dieting again haha

Since August last year I gained 6 kg and I definitely want to lose that again. My diet? Weight Watchers! I don't know why but this is the only diet I can really be strict with. I don't attend the weekly meetings, I think those are stupid after a while and just way too expensive, so I just do it myself after visiting once a meeting and that works. I also tried low-carb etc. but nothing really worked for me. I just cheated waaaay too much and with Weight Watchers it finally works again. And that's why I also chosed this pretty crop top from ZARA and my new high-waist pants with ripped knees from ASOS for this outfit.

Ich glaube, dieses Jahr gibt es kaum einen Trend, der so verbreitet ist wie bauchfreie Oberteile und hochgeschnittene Hosen, Röcke und Shorts. I arbeite bei ZARA als Visual Merchandiser und ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass fast die Hälfte unserer Kollektion genau diese beiden Trends abdeckt. Ich hab schon so viel davon gekauft. Aber das zwingt mich jetzt auch wieder ein wenig an Gewicht zu verlieren haha

Seit August letzten Jahres habe ich 6 kg zugenommen, die ich bis zum Sommer auf jeden Fall wieder loswerden möchte. Letztes Jahr hatte ich so viel mit Weight Watchers abgenommen und irgendwie ist das die Einzige Diät, die wirklich zu mir passt. Die wöchentlichen Treffen lasse ich aber ausfallen. Die sind sinnlos, wenn man weiß wie es funktioniert und viel zu überteuert. Aber sich einmal zu Anfang anmelden und alles erklärt zu bekommen etc. ist schon sehr anzuraten. Besonders, da dir dann auch erzählt wird, wie viele Punkte du essen darfst etc. Ich hatte es auch schon mit low-carb Diäten probiert, aber irgendwie kann ich das nie durchziehen. Und nun funktioniert es endlich. Daher habe ich jetzt auch das bauchfreie Top von ZARA und die High-Waist Jeans mit ausgeschnittenen Kien von ASOS ausgewählt.

I think the title says it all. I'm so stuck between colors and simple black items. In Winter I bought so many black and simply dark stuff and by now I'm being in such a colorful mood. Do you have the same? It's weird how much influence the weather got on us, isn't it? These are a couple new items that you haven't seen so far but I really like and am going to use for outfit posts soon.

Ich denke der Titel sagt alles. Ich stecke momentan irgendwo zwischen Rosa, Türkis und Blau und dem tristen und dennoch aufregendem Schwarz. Im Winter habe ich mich mit schwarzen Sachen tot gekauft und mittlerweile verliebe ich mich in alles, das rosa, babyblau, orange oder gelb ist. Komisch, wie die Jahreszeit Einfluss auf unsere Farbwahl hat, nicht wahr? Habt ihr das auch so extrem? Dies hier sind ein paar neue Dinge, die ich mir in der letzten Zeit gekauft habe und grad so schön ins Thema passen und daher nun in diesem Post gelandet sind. I've already posted a sneak preview on my facebook page earlier today and also mentioned what this post is about. To give you a tiny bit of background info: I moved to the Netherlands in August last year to live with my boyfriend that I met at Sziget festival in Budapest the year before that. Fortunately, I got a great job in the fashion industry in Utrecht and am really enjoying my work. But (and thats a big 'but') I've been getting waaay less time for my blog or any other activities beside that due to my working hours. And exactly this has started to make me feel quite unhappy, since I also dont know where my currently job ends up or if I get a better position there or not at some point. So I decided to change something. I want to start blogging again and be more positive about my job. Lately I felt quite down since I never know how they think about me or if they have greater plans for me. It started out really good but now I'm having a lot of doubts for some reason. With blogging I just want to keep some opportunities open for me. You never know!

Heute Nachmittag habe ich auf meiner Facebook Seite bereits eine kleine Vorschau gepostet und ein klein wenig hingewiesen, worum es im heutigen Post geht. Um euch Hintergrundinfos zu geben: Letztes Jahr im August bin ich zu meinem Freund in den Niederlanden gezogen. Das Jahr davor hatten wir uns in Ungarn auf dem Sziget Festival kennengelernt. Seit dem habe ich einen wirklich tollen 'Mode'-Job in Utrecht. Aber seit dem (und das ist ein großes Aber) habe ich seeeehr viel weniger Zeit für's Bloggen und andere Aktivitäten nebenher. Meine Arbeitszeiten sind ziemlich lang und liegen auch sehr unpraktisch. Und genau das macht mich manchmal ziemlich unglücklich. Ich möchte Karriere machen und arbeite hart dafür, aber in diesem Job bekommt man kaum Feedback oder muss sich anhören, wie glücklich man sich schon mit der jetzigen Position fühlen müsse, und ich zweifle oft, ob sich die Arbeit irgendwann auszahlen wird oder ob ich immer in dieser Position bleibe. Anfangs habe ich sehr viel Gutes gehört, aber mittlerweile ist es ziemlich komisch manchmal. Aber das ist wohl die "Fashion Industrie" ... Mit dem Bloggen möchte ich mir einfach ein paar Optionen offen halten. Man kann ja nie wissen!

Ich glaube, ich mutiere gerade unweigerlich zu einem ZARA Blogger. Da ich fast jeden Tag fast den ganzen Tag mit ZARA beschäftigt bin, landen immer wieder Teile in meine Hände, die ich einfach nicht mehr loslasse und mit nach Hause nehme (nachdem ich es natürlich bezahlt habe *heul* Ich will gesponsert werden haha). Das schwarze Shirt mit durchsichtigen Ärmeln und Dekolleté sowie die Stiefeletten sind aus der letzten Winterkollektion und gerade im Sale erhältlich. Der Leder Bleistiftrock mit seinen roten und blauen eye-catcher Blumen-Elementen ist aus der aktuellen Sommerkollektion, aber dennoch mittlerweile im Sale zu bekommen, da es bereits seit einiger Zeit im Shop ist/war. And last but not least, die Kette. Sie gehört ebenfalls zur Sommerkollektion. Ich stehe einfach total auf die Ketten von ZARA. Sie sind einfach immer ein Hingucker. Wenn man schon Ketten trägt, sollten sie auch sichtbar sein. Und das sind sie definitiv.

I believe I've been mutating to a ZARA blogger at the moment. Since I'm busy with ZARA almost every day almost all day items just appear in my hands and don't let me go anymore. So I'm leaving my working place with a ZARA bag - let's say - quite often (I wish they would sponsor me *cry*). 

The black shirt with see-through sleeves and cleavage as well as the boots are from the last Winter collection and so available on sale at the moment. The leather pencil skirt with its eye-catching red and blue floral elements is from the current Summer collection but already available on sale as well since it's been being in the shops for a quite long time yet. And last but not least, the golden blue necklace. It belongs to the Summer collection as well. I fancy necklaces from ZARA so much. Those are always an adorable eye-catcher. I mean if you get a necklace, then one you can actually see. There is no sense of wearing tiny thin golden or silver necklaces with the tiniest pendant.

Was machen Blogger eigentlich so neben ihrem Blog? Gute Frage! So wie ich das mitbekommen habe, sind die meisten Studenten und haben dadurch relativ viel Zeit. Natürlich haben sie auch ihre Pflichten, das will ich gar nicht bestreiten. Aber mit einem Vollzeit-Job kann sich ein Studentenleben nicht wirklich messen und das ist nun mal Fakt. Seit ca. 3,5 Jahre habe ich einen Full-Time Job. Zuerst habe ich im Büro gearbeitet, außerhalb der Modeindustrie. Normale Arbeitszeiten und freie Wochenenden. Dadurch war es mir möglich meinen Blog doch relativ gut zu balancieren, auch wenn man abends oft kaputt war. Jetzt wo ich bei ZARA arbeite ist es nicht mehr so einfach. Hinzu kommt, dass es momentan immer schon so früh dunkel wird. Ich habe sehr lange Arbeitszeiten und arbeite auch am Wochenende und habe nicht oft zwei Tage hintereinander frei. D.h. ich bin oft zu kaputt, um an meinem einzigen freien Tag noch Bilder zu machen. Der Haushalt muss erledigt werden, ich muss ins Gym und dann brauche ich noch Zeit für Freunde und Familie. Ich liebe meinen Blog, aber dadurch wird es sehr schwierig für mich alles unter einem Hut zu bringen. Und ganz aufgeben, will ich meinen Blog schon gar nicht. Ich habe hier so viele Stunden und Leidenschaft investiert. Viele von euch können mich bestimmt verstehen. Ganz besonders, wenn ihr einen eigenen Blog habt und vielleicht sogar eine ganz ähnliche Situation wie ich.

PS: Ich habe auch Einladungen zur Berlin Fashion Week bekommen, die ich leider absagen muss :-( das nervt mich noch fast mit am meisten. Reißt mir fast das Herz auseinander.

What do fashion bloggers do beside their blogs, btw? Good question! I know that a lot of bloggers are students and so - let's be honest - got quite much free time. Of course they also have their obligations but it's not comparable with a full-time job. I've got a full-time job since 3,5 years. First I worked in a office, outside of the fashion industry. By now I got a full-time job at ZARA what means uncommon working times including the weekends and public holidays. And it's sooooo much more exhausting and stressful. I don't want to complain, I really enjoy my new job in the coordination there but unfortunately I got a lot less energy and time to keep my blog busy and make pictures on my somewhat free time. So I can't prevent spending less time on my blog and post less than the months before. I've always been struggling a bit with finding time for my blog or rather for making all these pictures but now it's really tight. However, I love my blog and I can't give it completely up. Guys of you that also got a blog, probably understand my situation and how I'm feeling.

PS: I've got quite some invitations to the Berlin Fashion Week but I will also have to cancel those for lack of time. That almost tears my heart apart ...
