In der Nähe von unserer Wohnung gibt es eine Straße, die aussieht, als wäre sie New York City entsprungen. Einfach eine Reihe Carry Bradshaw Häuser mitten in Utrecht. Es sieht wirklich toll aus. Natürlich musste ich das als Location nutzen. 

Die Bluse mit Glitzerkragen und den Lippenstift-Prints habe ich gerade gestern vom Postboten bekommen. Asos hat sich dieses Mal wirklich mit meinem Päckchen beeilt. Diese hammer Kette von Zara gab es gestern von meinem Freund als Überraschung. Ich hatte "ein wenig" davon geschwärmt, war mir aber Budget bezogen nicht sicher, ob ich mir das Wahnsinnsstück kaufen sollte oder nicht. Aber es sollte wohl einfach sein, dass ich sie in meine Sammlung aufnehme und ihr Unterkunft biete.

This red blouse with a glitter collar and lip prints I got from the mail man yesterday. Asos had been quite rushing this time. That stunning necklace from Zara my boyfriend gave it to me as a present yesterday. I have to admit that I was being crazy about it in front of him but I didn't expect he'd get it for me. It's a cute and weird thought at the same time that he really went to Zara and looked that one up. By those presents, he makes me love him even more. haha

in-fashion festival: outfit day 1

Bluse/Blouse - Vero Moda // Rock/Skirt - River Island (similar here) // Tasche/Bag - New Yorker // Kette/Necklace + Plateau-Heels - H&M

Wie einige von euch ja schon wissen, war ich letztes Wochenende hier in Utrecht, Niederlande, auf dem In-Fashion Festival. Drei Tage hieß es für Modebegeisterte also Fashion pur. Dies hier war mein Outfit, dass ich am Samstag getragen hatte. Einen Skater-Rock von River Island und eine lange olivfarbene Bluse von Vero Mode, die silberne Applikationen auf den Schultern hat. Drunter habe ich ein schwarzes Nachtkleid getragen, da die Bluse durchsichtig war und ich fands irgendwie cool, dass das Kleid ein wenig unterm Rock hervorblitzte. Den Glitzer-Nagellack habe ich gerade erst von Catrice gekauft. Sieht toll aus, so ohne anderen Lack drunter und hält ewig lang, da man nicht sofort sieht, wenn irgendwo Farbe absplittert.

Ich habe mir jetzt endlich mal eine Testversion von Photoshop Lightroom runtergeladen. Diese Fotos habe ich direkt damit ein wenig aufgebessert. Ich muss sagen, dass ich schon bei kleinen Veränderungen einen riesen Unterschied zu beispielsweise Photoscape festellen kann. Daumen hoch!

A couple of you may have already read that I joined In-Fashion festival in Utrecht, Netherlands, last weekend. So for three days it said pure fashion. This was my Saturday outfit. A skater skirt from River Island and a long olive colored blouse from Vero Moda that got silver colored appliqueés on its shoulders. Underneath I was wearing a black nightdress since the blouse was quite see-through. I don't know, I kind of liked the idea that you could also see it a tiny bit underneath the skirt. The nailpolish I just purchased from Catrice. It looks cute without any other polish underneath.

I've just downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Lightroom and I'm super excited. I've never worked with Photoshop before and am surprised how good the pictures' quality remains. There is no turning back to free-ware such as Photoscape anymore. Definitely not!

Dieses Wochenende war/ist das In-Fashion Festival in Utrecht, Niederlande. Business und Fun in einem abzudecken ist nun mal einfach hin und wieder eine tolle Art seine Tage zu verbringen. Ich habe bei Workshops einiges Handwerkliches dazugelernt und auch super nette und interessante Leute kennengelernt.

Unter anderem war ich, wie ihr auf den Bildern sehen könnt, bei dem Workshop "What to STUD!". Jan de Groot von Studfabriek.nl hat uns Mädels in Zusammenarbeit mit Revenge gezeigt, wie man seine eigene Kleidung mit Nieten ein wenig aufpeppen kann. Und das sogar super easy! Ich bin quasi ein wenig süchtig danach geworden. Ein Tutorial hierzu folgt sehr bald. Diejenigen von euch, die noch nicht wissen, wie das Ganze funktioniert, sollen doch nicht etwa im Dunkeln bleiben. Dafür ist das einfach eine viel zu großartige Idee.

This weekend was or still is In-Fashion Festival in Utrecht, Netherlands. Business and Fun at once is just a nice way to spend your days now and then. I've expanded my handicraft skills and met a lot of friendly, fun and interessting people that enjoy fashion at least as much as I do.

Among others, I joined a workshop called 'What to STUD!' at a cute store in the city. Jan de Groot from Studfabriek.nl showed us girls in collaboration with Revenge how to spice up our closet. And that even super easy! I've become addicted in a way. A DIY tutorial follows very soon. The one of you, that haven't seen so far how to stud your clothes by yourself, shouldn't stay in the dark much longer. This idea is just way to great for that.

hello, ethnic look! I like you ... but I actually like so many styles

Jeder versucht selbst andauernd seinen Style zu beschreiben, zu definieren. Rockig mit einem romantischen Einfluss. Boho-Style. Soho-Style. Typsicher britischer Chic. Bla Bla. Ich finde ich es ziemlich hart, da es je nach Laune plötzlich so variieren kann. Ich persönlich denke, man sollte sich da nicht so stressen. Das Wichtigste ist, dass man im allem, was man trägt, sich selbst treu bleibt und niemand anderen zu kopieren versucht. Kaufe, was deine Aufmerksamkeit erregt und Style es nach deinem Geschmack. Besonders in unseren jungen Jahren ist es gut sich hier und da mal auszuprobieren oder mal ein zwei Teile in seiner Sammlung aufzunehmen, die man normalerweise nicht tragen würde. Ein "hammer Style" bedeutet nicht, dass man ihn definieren kann, sondern die Art wie du die verschiedenen Trends kombinierst. Bloggerin Jana von Bekleidet ist hier ein sehr gutes Beispiel. Sie hat sich in den letzten zwei Jahren sehr entwickelt. Ihr Style war meiner Meinung nach immer einzigartig und sie selbst. Und das liegt nicht daran, dass sie andauernd dem Ethno-Look treu war oder aus Prinzip nur romantische Kleidung mit viel Rüschen und Flatterkram trug. Es war die Art wie sie all diese verschiedenen Stile kombiniert hat und die von vielen so geschätzt wird. Es ist erfrischend so viel Verschiedenes an einer Person zu sehen.

Warum ich das schreibe? Weil ich eine von euch Mädels bin, die versucht ihren Stil zu beschreiben. Ich steh aber auf so viel Unterschiedliches, dass ich es einfach mal lassen sollte. Ich finde den Ethno-Print toll. Liebe aber auch Romantisch oder Rockiges. Du findest allerdings nicht alles in jeden meiner Outfits. Es ist einfach kreuz und quer.

So many girls and guys try so define their style in words. Like rocking with a romantic influence. Boho-Style. Soho-Style. Typical Brit chic. Bla Bla. I find it hard to say, since your personal style often varies so much. Of course you can say "Oh, dear. You look always so chic or elegant." But to be honest, that's not defining a style. Sorry! So don't stress so much about it. It's more important to feel confident in what you're wearing and that you stay yourself but not trying to copy anyone else. Especially when being this young, you should experiment a bit and purchase a couple items that you usually wouldn't wear. Having an great and unique style is not about defining it. It's about the way you combine all these different styles in your outfits. Fashion blogger Jana from Bekleidet is a good example in this case. You can't really define her style but she's got a unique and inspiring way to combine all these different trends. It's brisk to see so many different things on one person.

Why am I telling you that? Because I'm one of these girls that always try to find a definition. But the truth is I'm in love with ethnic look, some bohemia items, sometimes I like it a bit more rocking. However, I'm not stressing about it anymore and just enjoy wearing all of it. It's still me since I have my own way to create my outfits.

Vor kurzem ist meine Verlosung zu Ende gegangen und nun bin ich auch schon wieder auf der Suche nach einer neuen Aktion, die ich für meine Leser und meinen Blog starten kann. Wichtig dabei ist, dass ihr etwas Großartiges davon habt und mein Blog ebenso. Ihr könnt von mir aus über Beauty, Fotografie, Kochen oder über Mode so wie ich bloggen.
