Über's Wochenende habe ich mein kleines Köfferchen gepackt und bin ab mit der nie verspäteten und super zuverlässigen Bahn meine Family in Deutschland besuchen. Also wie sagt man auf Niederländischen: "Tot ziens, Nederland!" und "Hallo, Deutschland"! Meine Eltern sind gerade mit meinen jüngeren Geschwistern in ein schönes Landhaus gezogen. Passend zum Thema wollte ich ein paar Outfitfotos mit unseren Pferden machen. Gefällt mir irgendwie. Besonders da die Kleidung einen Kontrast zum Landleben und Reiten darstellt. Das Batik Kleid und der Gürtel waren übrigens super Schnäppchen bei Asos.com. Wenn euer Geldbeutel also mal ein wenig trauriger aussieht, dann schaut euch im Sale ein wenig genauer um.

My parents just moved to an old farmers house that is actually quite big and cute. Soooo I thought it would be a nice idea to make some pictures with our horses that graze right next to their house. I like the contrast between our horses and my quite chic outfit. By the way, I purchased the batik dress and the waist belt on Asos.com for almost no money. So if your piggy bank looks quite sad one day, then just browse a bit through their sales section.

Wie vor ein paar Tagen bereits angekündigt, habe ich zum Geburtstag noch ein weiteres Geschenk bekommen, das ich euch hier einmal zeigen möchte. Nach geschlagenen 1,5 Stunden des vollkommenen Leidens habe ich endlich mein Tattoo in voller Pracht auf meinen Rippen gehabt. Mir persönlich bedeuten diese Worte sehr viel. Daher bin ich froh, es nun bei mir zu tragen. Knallhart habe ich es natürlich ohne Pause durchgezogen. Der Gedanke immer wieder Pausen zu machen und es damit nur in die Länge zu ziehen, war mir echt zu viel. :-D Es ist nicht mein erstes Tattoo, also kann ich ruhig behaupten, dass die Rippen nicht der einfachste Platz für ein Tattoo sind.

I got a new tattoo!!!! As mentioned a couple days ago, I got another great birthday present that I wanted to show you. After 1,5 hours of pain I finally got the tattoo in all its glory on my ribs. These words mean a lot to me so I'm really happy to carry them with me all the time. I didn't want to make any break. The idea of having to make breaks and start again and again and so delay finishing the tattoo and thus the pain was just too much. :-D It's not my first tattoo, so I really got a comparison ...

new items in my closet

Leider ist mein letzter Post schon einige Tage zu lange her. Ich hatte es einfach nicht geschafft mir die Zeit zu nehmen, um einen ordentlichen Post vorzubereiten. Jetzt ist es endlich Sonntag, ein Tag, an dem man eh nur faul auf der Couch liegt und nichts Produktives zustande bekommt. Quasi fast perfekt, um sich aufzuraffen und ein wenig zu fotografieren und zu schreiben.

Dies ist dabei rausgekommen. Ich habe mir neuerdings ein paar Dinge gegönnt. Darunter ein neues schwarz-cremefarbenes Kleid, süße Shorts mit Schleife und einen Taillen-Gürtel mit Nieten von Asos.com - einer meiner Lieblings-Shops. Die krasse Tasche habe ich am Freitag zum Geburtstag bekommen. Zu meinem zweiten, großen Geburtstagsgeschenk folgt in ein paar Tagen noch ein zusätzlicher Post ...

Unfortunately, my last blogpost is a couple days too long ago. I just couldn't find any time to prepare a post, take pictures and write anything. However, today is Sunday. A day on which you're being lazy on the couch anyways and aren't being able to manage to do anything productive. So I'm having enough time to at least do this. I've got a couple new items that deserve being presented in a single post. I'm really in love with rivets. If we did it my way, everything would have rivets or a bold pattern. The dress, those cute shorts with a bow tie and the studded belt I got on Asos.com. That bold clutch with golden emphasises and rivets I got as a present from my boyfriend. I turned 24 last Friday on 20th September. But that wasn't the only present he gave to me. Another blogpost of the second amazing present will follow in a couple days ...

about denim shirts and skater skirts

Ich habe dieses Jeanshemd schon Ewigkeiten in meinem Schrank, getragen habe ich es bisher allerdings kaum. Ich wusste nicht so recht, wie ich es stylen sollte und habe es daher einfach gelassen. Gestern Abend kam mir dann der Geistesblitz. Es gefällt mir ehrlich gesagt sehr gut ... zwei Teile, die ich bisher kaum getragen habe. Basic Jeanshemd von H&M und meinen Skaterrock von River Island, den ich mir über Asos.de zulegt hatte.

I've already had this jeans shirt in my closet for ages but have only worn it a couple times right after I bought it. I actually kinda like it but didn't actually know how to combine it, so I just didn't. Yesterday night then, I got a sudden inspiration. And to be honest, I really like it. These canals are probably Utrecht's landmark. They make this city just so much more beautiful and unique. Imagine you're having a shopping tour with your friends or even alone in Utrecht and stroll along the idyllic canals in order to get from one store to the other. Inbetween you're getting in the mood for a glas of wine that you can drink right at the canals outside of an old-fashioned sweet restaurant. I've already done so a couple times since I moved here a couple weeks ago and I love it. It gives you a really nice and warm holiday feeling and a bright smile. Darf ich vorstellen? Meine neuen Eroberungen. Es gibt mir immer so wunderbare Glücksgefühle, wenn ein Päckchen geliefert wird und ich ein neues Stück das erste Mal nicht nur auf einem digitalen Bild bewundern darf. Für ein paar Sekunden fühlt es sich an, als hätte ich das Atmen vergessen. Zu sehr schwirrt die Frage im Kopf, ob das Teil wohl genauso gut aussieht, wie man es vom Bild her kennt. Es ist so enttäuschend, wenn man das perfekte Kleid oder die hübschesten neuen Treter bestellt hat, bereits die wundervollsten Träume davon hatte, und dann sieht es am Ende einfach nur ****** aus. Dieses mal wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Alles sieht sogar besser aus als erst angenommen. Die Schuhe von Asos.com sind ein "Pre-birthday present" von meinem Freund. May I introduce? My new captures. I alway get such a nice and warm feeling in my stomach when a new package's just been delivered and I can finally see that item not only on a digital picture. For a couple second it seems like I forgot how to breath since the question is bothering me: 'Does is look as good as on the picture? What if not?'. It's always so dissapointing when you've found the perfect dress or the most gorgeoust shoes, you've already dreamed of it so often and then it looks like **** in the end. However, this time I wasn't dissapointed at all and I'm still enjoying that nice warm feeling when I'm looking at my new treasure. one dress, two fabrics

Das Festival Wochenende ist vorbei und wir kehren zurück in den Alltag. Wobei mein Alltag momentan noch kein richtiger Alltag ist. Es tut gut eine kleine Jobpause zu machen und mich voll auf meinen Umzug, mein Modeblog und meine Zukunft konzentrieren zu können. Andererseits kann ich es auch nicht abwarten, wieder morgens aufzustehen, um zur Arbeit zu gehen. Es tut sich auf jeden Fall schon Einiges hierfür.

Die Location meines heutigen Outfitposts liegt wieder in Utrecht. Ich hatte diese Brücke gerade erst als Location. Allerdings habt ihr das gute Stück da von unten gesehen und nicht aus dieser Perspektive. Das Kleid hatte ich damals beim TAKKO Fashion Photo Workshop geschenkt bekommen. Ich finde, die offene Bluse nimmt dem Dress ein wenig Schick, ohne dass sie komplett verloren geht. Die Nieten Boots tun es der Bluse gleich und runden das Outfit ab.

The festival weekend is over and we're back to our daily life. Even though you can't really call my life a 'daily life' at the moment. It's nice and kind of relaxing having a break off a full time job and so being able to completely focus on my new home, the moving, my fashion blog and my future. Otherwise I of course can't wait to get up in the morning again to go to a job that I enjoy. Anyways, it's going quite well for me at the moment and soon I'll have something new.

The location you see on the pictures is in Utrecht again. You've already seen it a couple posts ago but this time from a different perspective. That kind of makes it to a new location ...

That dress I got at a TAKKO fashion photography workshop for free. I combined it with that olive green blouse and those boots in order to take a tiny bit of its chic without removing it at all.
